The Exchange Club of Colorado Springs will hold their major fundraiser,

The Pikes Peak Celebrity Golf Tournament & Shootout.

Plus, adding this year “The Grand Auction Banquet & Celebrity Shootout, June 19 through June 21, 2008.

This year’s events will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and “the Prevention of Child Abuse” as well as other Colorado Springs community service projects and future events.

The Exchange Club is a national service club with the goals of the prevention of child abuse and the promotion of patriotism. The Exchange Club of Colorado Springs will also be celebrating their 60th anniversary this month.

This is the 22nd year that the Pikes Peak Celebrity Events have been held in the Pikes Peak region.

This year’s celebrities include Artist Ray Kelly, Artist Terry Thompson, Past National Bull Riding Champion Charles Sampson, Actor Frank Stallone, Actor &Stunt Man Bob Petitt, Belt Buckle Designer David Crumrine, Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Rich (Goose) Gossage, Actor/Rancher Bob Norris, and others.

The events will be:

·         Thursday, June 19 Dinner and Calcutta at the new “Cowboys” downtown

·         Friday, June 20 Golf at “Valley Hi Golf Club”

·         Friday, June 20 Grand Auction & Banquet at the “Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame”

·         Saturday, June 21 Shootout at “Izaak Walton Gun Club”.
