K&L Ski & Ride Free Program
returns for fourth season.
Having seen tens of thousands of people
take advantage of the program over the last three seasons, Copper Mountain
Resort again offers its K&L Beginner Ski & Ride Free program this
winter.
The K&L program offers free skiing on
five trails and over 53 acres of beginner terrain surrounding the K and L
chairlifts in the Union Creek area.
Anyone who would like to ride the lifts for free can simply go to the
Union Creek ticket sales desk and ask for a free ticket any day the program is
offered. Specific dates for which the
program is offered are now available, officials said.
"There are no strings attached to
this program," explained Communications Director Hilary Fadner. "Copper understands that trying a new
snow sport can seem overwhelming when you consider all the necessary components
required to spend a day on the slopes.
Our simple goal with the K&L program is to help more people enjoy
snow sports by taking some of the hassle and expense out of the mountain
experience."
The K&L beginner program is also a
great way for experienced snow sliders to attempt a new sport. "We've seen lots of skiers try
snowboarding or telemarking with this program," Fadner added. "We've also found the program is quite
popular with parents who are teaching their children a snow sport—especially
when three or four runs can constitute a full day on the slopes."

& Ride Free program and for specific dates, call (970) 968-2318, ext. 6652.

late to let you spend your days outside.
Or, take a short drive or free Summit Stage bus ride to Silverthorne to
visit over 70 brand-name factory outlet shops, also open late during the winter
season.
